Hello lovelies! & welcome back to my blog. I have been in full fall mode lately! This past weekend Mason and I made pumpkin snickerdoodles and God were they delicious. I had originally wanted to make apple pie cinnamon rolls, but I'm really not that great in the kitchen yet, so we decided to start things small. They seriously turned out BOMB! Fully cooked, yet still light and fluffy and full of pumpkin. I snapped the adventure and will definitely snap the next time I make them! I've also been watching an absurd amount of American Horror Story. I had perviously watch part of the 3rd and 4th season, but I never watched the first two and wanted to go back and start from scratch. AHS is easily the scariest, yet most intriguing show I've ever watched! That is, aside from Stranger Things, which I am also currently watching. Two of my littles come over every week and we shriek in my apartment every time the monster gets close. There are just so many fall/Halloween inspired things I want to do and not nearly enough time!
*Disclaimer: This outfit was gifted to me by Sammy Dress for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
When it comes to fall fashion, you will almost never find me without a scarf and booties. I have at least three plaid scarves and a plethora of other fun designs. As fashionable as scarves are, though, I'm also the coldest person you will ever meet. It has to be 95 degrees outside for me to get hot and I get sick so easily as soon as the temperature dips below 65. Scarves are absolutely a necessity! This scarf from Sammy Dress was the perfect addition to my collection. The blue and brown color palate paired with the reversible print keeps things interesting, but isn't too loud. The real wow factor of this scarf is the price. Guys, I snagged this warm & fuzzy scarf on clearance for only $6.58!! If you're in the market for a warm blanket scarf, but don't want to break the bank, this is seriously the scarf for you.
And those booties?! I was never a huge fringe girl, but I think this fall season has changed me! I love the small added flare at the sides. The fringe detail doesn't take away from the simplicity of the design, but enhances it. I was honestly a little worried these shoes wouldn't be comfortable or good for my feet, but I've worn them every day this week and don't see that trend ending anytime soon!
It's no secret that I've gone head over heals for this outfit! I could talk about this outfit for days if you let me. I love how affordable and versatile each of these pieces are. I can mix and match them with so many different styles and that's what's so awesome about Sammy Dress. On point fashion at a fraction of the cost! If you've read my last two posts about Sammy Dress (you can catch up here and here!), you already know how crazy I am about their site. But don't take my word for it!
