Hey lovelies! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
It's been a while since I've last updated you on the oh so exciting life that is my own (cue sarcasm). And by a while I mean, almost six months ago in Italy. Wow. Time has honestly flown. Italy was absolutely amazing and I can't wait to update you on that experience whenever the universe decides to allot me more than one day to blog.
Any-who, I am currently sitting in my living room listening to my cousin and baby sister play a computer game, and smelling the delicious aroma of a cooking turkey, while trying to decide how on earth I'm going to be able to eat anymore when dinner hasn't even been served yet. What better way to spend a Thanksgiving Day?? Today I have a lot to be thankful for. My beautiful and loving family, always supportive friends, caring boyfriend, education, a roof over my head, and a whole list of others that I unfortunately take for granted everyday. Now, everyone has things they are thankful for but today's post is about another matter that I am particularly thankful for.
Today's post has been brought to you by a large amount of free time, stolen--I mean borrowed-- outfits, and my younger sister's ability to put up with my need to photograph every significant outfit I put on. So, for the purposes of this post, I am thankful for my little sister and my first (semi(not really even semi)) "official" photo shoot.
Besides slumming it in sweats and a t-shirt or an oversized t and no pants (no judgement), my favorite outfit is any that involves a sweater. So naturally, as I'm preparing to stuff my stomach with an obnoxious amount of food, the need to cover up is stronger than ever. What better way to do exactly that than with an oversized sweater and high waisted jeans? This outfit is perfect at concealing any sized food baby and comfortable enough to allow for the impending food coma. I paired this outfit with a my simple, everyday arm candy and black booties. Nothing fancy, but enough to get the job done.
Well, that about wraps it up for my first ever photo shoot! A big thank you again to the sass master and closet of my sister that made this blog post possible. As always, the life of a college student is crazy, so hopefully I'll be back soon, but if not be sure to subscribe to keep up to date with future posts and leave a comment with your favorite Thanksgiving Day outfit!
OH! And if you can't get enough, or just want to see what ya gurl's up to, I'm always active (maybe a bit tooo active) on Instagram and Twitter! Be sure to follow me there! Until next time,
